At Phoenix Youth and Family Services, our commitment to making a meaningful impact in our community is reflected in the numbers. Phoenix has invested over $1.4 million into the communities we serve, we have helped over 6,500 people affected by substance abuse, and our volunteers have logged over 820 hours. Here's a glimpse into the transformative work we've accomplished:

Juvenile Justice:

Through our partnership with the Division of Youth Services, we've served 123 young clients, providing vital support and guidance. Remarkably, 83 of these individuals have successfully been diverted from the juvenile justice system, steering them toward a more positive future.

Prevention and Education:

Our Regional Prevention Provider initiative has led to the development of 4 substance abuse prevention youth coalitions. These coalitions, boasting over 80 active members combined, are driving change at the grassroots level. Additionally, our prevention and education services have reached an impressive 6500 individuals through various events, training sessions, and presentations, indirectly shaping lives and fostering awareness.

In our Violence Outreach program, we've assisted 333 individuals in obtaining orders of protection, ensuring their safety and security. Through violence prevention presentations, 788 youth and adults have received indirect services, equipping them with the knowledge and resources to combat violence in their lives.

Workforce Development:

Our Young Adult Reentry Program (YARP) and Growth Opportunity (GO) initiatives have facilitated the employment of 115 participants over the past 5 years. Beyond jobs, we've empowered 103 participants to enhance their skills and credentials. These individuals have obtained certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and various degrees and certificates, positioning them for sustainable employment and brighter futures.
