Youth Mentor

Responsibilities:
- Host weekly supervision/support groups with mentees virtually.
- Maintain participant confidentiality.
- Ensure clear communication with families, Caseworkers, and Volunteer Coordinators.
- Provide emotional, social, and practical support within defined limits.
- Follow safety protocols during physical tasks.
- Participate in assigned staff development activities.
- Complete background checks and required training.

Time Commitment: 2 hours weekly (including a one-hour group meeting)

Supervision/Training: Monthly sessions with the Volunteer Coordinator; individual meetings as needed.

Location: Currently Remote serving Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha, and Drew Counties

Regional Prevention Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains the coordinated delivery of regional substance abuse prevention promotion and education services;

  • Coordinates services with other regional organizations and State and National programs;

  • Assesses and identifies community needs for drug and alcohol prevention programs;

  • Assists schools, organizations, and business groups to plan, organize, design, implement, and evaluate programs;

  • Provides community leadership through committees, networks, and coalitions to develop and foster cooperative relationships between diverse groups concerned with responsive prevention service

  • Develops and carries out training events, workshops, curricula, media campaigns, awareness materials, and other activities;

  • Inputs, assesses and analyzes data utilizing a data management system.

  • Act as liaison between community prevention efforts

  • Adhere to all the deliverables established by the funder

  • Constantly update job knowledge through training sessions as well as agency-required training

  • Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to the successful operation of the program and Agency.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or health-related field; M

  • Minimum of two years of experience in prevention, education, and/or the health education field.

  • Will be required to obtain prevention certification

Administrative Business Partner

Responsibilities:

  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents

  • Plan and schedule appointments and events

  • Greet and assist onsite guests

  • Answer inbound telephone calls

  • Develop and implement organized filing systems

  • Perform all other office tasks

  • Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to the successful operation of the program and Agency.

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • ​Strong organizational skills
