Rev. T. Broomfield

Rev. T.A. Broomfield, a dedicated board member since the organization's inception in 1995, hails from McGehee, Arkansas, where his unwavering commitment to social justice and equality has positively impacted the Crossett Community for over two decades. He is not only an advocate for PYFS but also a respected community organizer renowned for initiating the impactful Youth for Christ Crusade, a week-long event empowering youth through essential workshops. Rev. Broomfield's steadfast support mirrors our mission's growth, underscoring his belief in PYFS's ability to expand and serve more individuals in rural Southeast Arkansas.


Rev. James Hopper

Rev. James Rommel Hooper, Sr., a distinguished leader within the African Methodist Episcopal Church, serves as the esteemed presiding elder of the Monticello-Warren District in the East Arkansas Conference. Holding the prestigious position of senior presiding elder in the Twelfth Episcopal District, he also assumes the role of President Pro-Tem of the Presiding Elder’s Council. Reverend Hooper is not only a spiritual guide but also the revered pastor of St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church in Warren, Arkansas.

Rev. Hooper's educational journey began at Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical, and Normal College, now the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he earned his undergraduate degree. His commitment to higher learning led him to achieve a Masters of Divinity degree from Payne Theological Seminary, showcasing his dedication to spiritual and intellectual growth.

In addition to his roles within the church, Rev. Hooper served as the esteemed Dean of Jackson Theological Seminary in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Beyond his spiritual endeavors, he is a successful entrepreneur, owning a collision repair facility managed by his son, Thomas. Rev. Hooper's inspiring ministry is complemented by the unwavering support of his wife, Jeanette, whose invaluable contributions enrich his spiritual work and community impact.

 

 

Dr. Billy Adams

Dr. Billy Adams, an accomplished educator with a rich background in special education, has been an invaluable member of PYFS's Board. With degrees from prestigious institutions and a wealth of experience in educational administration, Dr. Adams has contributed significantly to the Lakeside School District, where he served as Assistant Superintendent and later as Superintendent. His active involvement in educational associations and leadership roles on various boards, including the Arkansas Activities Association, reflects his passion for education. Dr. Adams, alongside his wife Wanda Adams, plays a vital role in the Homebound Ministry at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, demonstrating his commitment to community service and spiritual guidance.


Mr. Samuel Jamison

Samuel Jamison, an integral member of the PYFS Board since its inception in 1995, has dedicated his professional expertise to enhance the quality of life in Southeast Arkansas. With a vision for PYFS as a continuously growing organization, he envisions a future where our services reach more communities, providing vital support. While his primary focus remains on PYFS, Samuel is also a seasoned professional, employed by a leading global company in packaging, paper building products, and related chemicals. His commitment to our cause exemplifies his unwavering dedication to our mission.
